It’s Black History Month and community colleges are celebrating. At Henry Ford Community College (MI), the eighth annual student symposium will focus on “Navigating the College Experience,” while other events include traditional African music and dance, an entrepreneurship forum and a showing of a documentary about the Civil Rights Movement and racial integration, “America Beyond the Color Line: The Black Belt.”

Find out what’s happening at a variety of other community colleges, too, including the Community College of Allegheny County, Bergen Community College, Danville Community College and Western Piedmont Community College.
